Teksol Ltd was founded in 1999 by current managing director Iain Millington, the company has over 20 years of experience within the industry. When the company first started trading it was simply a one-man band, since then Teksol has developed into a mature organisation with 12 employees, over the years the company has expanded and in 2016 we moved to a bigger purpose build premises, located in Flint, North Wales.

The majority of our work is carried out across the North West, mainly in Liverpool.  We have been working alongside some of the UKs most prestigious institutions since the company first started. These include:  The University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University, The University of Chester, Clatter bridge Hospital. Liverpool Hope University, Arrow Park Hospital and some local companies such as Revolymer now Known as Itaconix. We have had the chance to work alongside a few of the UKs most prestigious companies such as Integral UK, John Turner Construction and Aspect Construction.

Over the years we have gained a reputation as being one of the UKs Leading manufacturers of professional laboratory furniture and educational furniture. We are able to design, manufacture, supply and install new laboratories with bespoke, fully functional and professional laboratory furniture that has been designed and constructed in house by our joiners. We apply the same scheme when installing education furniture.

We aim to design and complete all jobs specific to the client’s specification. We always like to ensure that we are creating the perfect working environments across all of the sectors that we work within. We are able to undertake office refurbishments, medical research facilities, dentistry facilities, lecture room installation, equine facilities and much more.

We have a team of skilled employees driving the company to project to project. Each member has an extensive knowledge of the industry and this is recognised by the client on a day to day basis. The team has a combined expertise and knowledge that enables the company to provide the client with project solutions that are both innovative and sustainable. We always aim to deliver every project to the highest standard with integrated concept design. Our team aim to keep the client informed throughout the whole duration of the project as we as a company have always found that it is best to keep the client interacted with how the job is running.

When it comes to the design, manufacture and installation we are lucky to have a team that is made up of a selection of widely skilled Project Managers, Site Managers, Joiners, Plumbers and Laborers, we also have a fully qualified LEV Testing Engineer as a member of the team.

Throughout the years we have made it our mission to continuously deliver our projects to the highest standard possible as well as aiming to exceed the client’s expectations. Throughout the duration of the project, we will hold regular site meetings with the client or anyone that that the client appoints as main contractor. We are happy to create regular site reports for the clients detailing within them how the project is progressing and mapping out the deadlines, such as the ones that have been met or if any deadlines will need altering. Should changes need to be made, all parties will be information and software control updated. The management team always keep their client up to date and will liaise with the team to make sure that all of the deadlines that have been set are being met and that all is being conducted in the applicable way. When carrying out all projects we aim to meet all the health and safety guidelines in the correct manor.

Through the entire process we are sure to only use materials of the highest quality, one of the prime materials we use on laboratory projects is Trespa.  Trespa is high pressure laminate plate manufactured by Trespa UK. We have found Trespa to be both versatile and reliable. When choosing materials for a job we are always conscious that none of the materials are harmful to the environment or our team.

Health and safety is something we consider to be the most important within the organisation. We carry out various training sessions with all employees throughout the man different roles to ensure all are competent. We have designed a site board that is located on all projects that we carry out. The stand and board hold all site information that is relevant to the works being carried our. All information regarding our health and safety procedures is available on site along with the signing in logs, site contracts, H & S management documents etc. The health and safety information is also available through the Buildertrend app that all of our team have readily available to them on their phones. we use this app to manage our labour force on site, it is a fantastic tool that we strive to use on a daily basis.

We have received accreditation from CHAS, Construction Line, Safe Contractor, Acumen and Environmental Agency. We have an environmental licence and always ensure that our waste tickets are up to date.
